Student Learning
I believe in hands-on, play-based learning and strive to create an environment where students feel autonomous, creative and empowered. One of the ways I do this is by creating a myriad of ways for students to express themselves in long-term and short-term project-based work, both individual and ensemble-driven. I always stress the importance of not just making the work, but sharing that work with our classmates as it helps us learn more about the work itself. Consider this my way of sharing my project-based work with my audience— you!
