Staff Self-Portraits

As we ended the '21-'22 school year, other teachers and I wondered why we ask students to make self-portraits, but we never ask teachers to do the same! That's why, at the beginning of the '22-'23 school year, I asked teachers to create their very own self-portrait. Teachers could use any medium they liked to create their portrait. As teachers submitted their works, I created paper frames for each one and "framed" them in a miniature gallery. The gallery lives in our school lobby, low enough so students can see.
